Delaire's mask

Its purpose: to exert forward traction on the upper jaw to treat an inter-jaw meshing problem: upper jaw too far back (class 3 malocclusion).

How it’s attached: removable, usually connected by elastics to a fixed appliance bonded in the mouth.

Instructions for use:

• to be worn at least 14 hours a day
