His goal: to set back the teeth of the lower jaw
How it’s fixed: removable or fixed – attached to bands cemented onto the lower molars
Instructions for use and inconveniences :
- To be worn at all times
- Do not eat sticky candies
- Risk of cheek irritation, to be resolved with wax application
- Risk of sensitive molars in the morning, proof that treatment is working well
Hygiene:
- Careful brushing of teeth and especially of the two braces and the gum in contact with them
