The pendulum

Its purpose: to recede the teeth of the upper jaw.

How it’s attached: fixed

Instructions for use and discomforts:

• Risk of tooth sensitivity in the first few days, a sign that the treatment is working well
• Risk of cheek irritation, to be resolved with local application of wax
• Do not eat sticky foods such as candy, toffee or chewing gum

Hygiene: thorough brushing of teeth and especially braces and gums in contact with them, not forgetting the palate lozenge.
